Most existing AR systems have a major limitation: they are limited to the user's location and viewing angle. At DronOSS we've come up with a system for Remote Augmented Reality, where the video capturing device is physically separated from the display device. This way, users can remotely interact with AR. At drone pilot schools, our system could help students learn to maneuver a drone and give proofers better resources to assess drone piloting skills. As one of the essential eight technologies of the moment, AR has a promising future with lots of applications that nobody has even thought of yet.
